David Galas is one of the former members of the darkwave band 'Lycia'. He has been credited with working on many Lycia releases including 'Lycia-Live', 'The Burning Circle And Then Dust', 'Bleak-Vane', 'Cold' and 'Empty Spaces'. Shortly after Lycia broke up in 2000, David began writing and recording new material for a solo release. Finally after six years he has completed the CD and has been signed to Vendlus Records and will be releasing his debut CD "The Cataclysm" under his name. The CD is scheduled to be released in early 2006. The CD contains 19 tracks with a running time of over 70 minutes long. To listen to tracks, go to the multi-media section.

The second Solo release from David Galas, featuring 18 tracks running 76 minutes long. Featuring the songs ‘Glory’, ‘The Last Days of the War’ and ‘The Happiest Days of My Life’. David furthers the evolution of his sound and vision with this epic followup of the debut album ‘The Cataclysm’. Originally released on iTunes. A CD will be available sometime in 2010. Originally released on Projekt Records in 1995. Bleak was a side project envisioned by Mike Vanportfleet to explore the more dark and chaotic elements of Lycia. Recorded in 1994. The original tapes were transferred to digital in 2007. In September 2009, David Galas reloaded the tracks and spent the month completely remixing and remastering the entire album, capturing the original vision and sonic clarity that was previously impossible due to hardware limitations during the initial recording.
